BSC International Summer School is a two-week residential English language summer programme at Bishop’s Stortford College for international students aged 8 to 17. It includes English tuition, boarding accommodation, meals, activities, excursions, and airport transfers from London Stansted and London Heathrow on course dates.
International young learners and teenagers who want a residential UK summer school with English tuition, activities, excursions and boarding-school experience.
Students are looking for a purely academic experience without extra-curricular activities.
Students take morning English classes, join afternoon activities or Academy options, take part in evening events and team-building games, and go on excursions to Cambridge, London, Canterbury and, for individual students, Oxford.

International students aged 8 to 17 visiting the UK for a short two-week period.
Groups of students aged 8 to 17 are welcome when accompanied by one or more Group Leaders.
Individual students are accepted from ages 13 to 17.

What's included
Course fees for individual students include student medical and travel insurance, return airport transfers from London Stansted and London Heathrow on course dates, residential accommodation, three meals per day, and 30 hours of English language tuition.
The programme covers the following focus areas.
Curriculum
English lessons are topic-based and designed to develop communication skills, natural English and vocabulary, using materials selected for Kids’ and Teens’ courses and authentic resources. Teens can choose Academy options including Intensive English, Multi-activity, Creative Arts, Performing Arts and Sports Coaching.
Curriculum may be adjusted based on participant interests and current developments.
A typical day during the programme.
Students have morning English classes from 09:00 to 12:40, afternoon activities from 13:45 to 17:30, and evening activities such as discos, film nights, talent shows, sports tournaments and team-building games.
English language courses are delivered by Experio English, the exclusive partner of Experio Summer. Experio English is accredited by the British Council for teaching English in the UK and is a member of English UK.
Bishop’s Stortford College is on the edge of the historic market town of Bishop’s Stortford in Hertfordshire, within walking distance of shops, cafes, restaurants and the train station.
