    Are you an aspiring doctor? Join our 2026 medical summer school in London, designed for students aged 15-18.

    What you actually do

    Over the course of 2 weeks, students will get to step into the shoes of a doctor working in London, through a range of immersive career simulations and exclusive professional site visits. Perform key medical tasks in a London training hospital, attend patient consultations, practise taking blood, and learn to stitch up wounds. Plus, gain a qualification in work experience to boost your university application!

    Step-by-step process

      Visit a teaching hospital and work as part of a team of doctors and conduct a simulated ward round, guided by a doctor

    2. 2

      Work under pressure to assess a robot patient on a trauma ward, perform immediate treatment and receive live feedback from emergency medicine doctors

    3. 3

      Make diagnoses by reviewing patients' data, including x-rays, blood tests, consultation notes and medical history

    4. 4

      Gain first-hand experience to add to your medical school application

    5. 5

      Work alongside medical experts from a wide range of specialisms (including anaesthetics, surgery, emergency medicine, radiology and more)
