Welcome to the World Bank Group Youth Summit Pitch Competition 2026, a global opportunity for young innovators and entrepreneurs to showcase bold, impactful solutions to today’s most pressing development challenges. Open to individuals and teams aged 18–35 from around the world, it offers a platform to present ideas to an international audience and accelerate from concept to impact. As a flagship initiative of the Youth Summit, it highlights youth-led entrepreneurship for job creation, inclusive growth, and sustainable development. Finalists receive pitching coaching and project feedback from World Bank and partner technical advisors and present during the World Bank Group Youth Summit 2026 hosted at World Bank Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Winners receive tailored mentoring from IFC experts, and travel support may be provided for one representative per finalist team (subject to eligibility and visa requirements).

Participants must be 18–35 years old throughout the event (born on or after 13 June 1990, and on or before 13 June 2008).
Open to individuals or teams of up to five members.
All participants must be nationals of World Bank Group member countries.
Projects must be in one of two categories: Ideation or Early Venture Stage.

Prepare submission materials: Prepare a completed application form, a 1-minute video pitch, and a pitch deck (PDF). The official pitch deck template is mandatory.
Submit via official platform (F6S): Submit the proposal through the official online application platform on F6S (application + pitch deck + 1-minute video).
Undergo review process: Submissions go through pre-screening, shortlisting (video + pitch deck review), and interviews for selected teams only.
Final pitch at Youth Summit (if selected): Finalists present their projects during the World Bank Group Youth Summit 2026 at World Bank Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Participants must be 18–35 years old throughout the event (born on or after 13 June 1990, and on or before 13 June 2008).
Open to individuals or teams of up to five members.
All participants must be nationals of World Bank Group member countries.
Projects must be in one of two categories: Ideation or Early Venture Stage.
Applications will be accepted only in English.
Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
Video pitch: only the first 60 seconds will be reviewed.
Video pitch must not include demos, screen recordings, animations, or slides.
Winner mentoring (IFC experts)
Winners receive tailored mentoring from IFC experts, covering areas such as business modeling, market analysis, and context-specific feedback.
Finalist coaching & feedback
Finalists receive pitching coaching and project feedback from World Bank and partner technical advisors, and present during the Youth Summit 2026 at World Bank Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Potential travel support (finalists)
Travel support may be provided for one representative per finalist team, subject to eligibility and visa requirements.
