    • Middle Division: Grades 7 to 9

    • Senior Division: Grades 10 to 12

    • Entries can be team (up to four students) or individual

    How to enter

    1. 1

      Choose participation mode: Compete as a team (up to four) or as an individual.

    2. 2

      Research & analyze the topic: Before competition time.

    3. 3

      Complete the timed competition work: Students get two hours during competitions to complete the 6-step problem-solving process for a given future situation.

    4. 4

      Progress through the season: Two practice problems and one qualifying problem are available; qualifying can lead to a fourth problem at regional affiliate finals and a chance to attend the International Conference in June.

    5. 5

      Receive evaluator feedback: Registered students receive rubric-based evaluation feedback on submissions for each topic.
